The Door is Always Open
I sit in a dark room. The only light coming in is from the moon, shining through a small window. Exhaling, I think. Think about all my sins. How they seem like pebbles, adding up to mountains. My mind keeps showcasing my weaknesses, like a great hall of failure. Its disheartening, depressing.
I find my mind going to these dark places quite often. Its something thats tiring and frustrating. Closing the door on myself, on happiness. I was watching a quick lecture by Hamza Yusuf that reminded me that no matter what we have done the door is always open.
