Problem Solving: How to Free Our Minds

Anything is possible. We hear this all the time. Unfortunately, for most people, we are too preoccupied on our problems too agree.

As creatures of emotions we tend to forget that most of the complex matters disturbing our minds are being fueled by our inability to separate emotion from logic. Our brains are tied up in this never ending battle, exhausting us, depressing us, and making us feel like we are stuck.

Whats important is to diverge our attention from the problem to the solution.

It is important to move our attention from the problem to finding the solution. The more we focus on the problem the greater it seems. Its the same as looking at yourself in the mirror and focusing only on the bad. All of a sudden your ears seem bigger than they are, your belly seems to be jutting out further then it is, your nose is a boulder…this is a false perception of reality.

Now, without getting too deep, our realities lie within the confines of our mind. So if your mind is thinking about how much your life sucks, how big your problems are, how far you are from accomplishing your dream, you will always remain in that reality. Not even a force from God will change the state you are in. Even He says: “Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” (Surah Ar-Rad).

This is a freeing solution to our confining problems. What it means is we have the ability, the power, the necessary tools to take those problems, and solve them. Understand this. It is one of the greatest things we can ever realize, that only we can solve our problems.

Some problems will take a lifetime, some days, some can be solved within seconds, but as long as we are working on finding the solution and not suffocating inside the problem we can begin freeing our minds. We can begin to train ourselves to become problem solvers.

So start right now, arrange your thoughts and find solutions, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
